Tip Sort is a software platform that helps Irish hospitality businesses manage and distribute tips and gratuities to staff in compliance with the Payment of Wages (Amendment) (Tips and Gratuities) Act 2022 (“the Act”). The platform provides tools for uploading tip pool data, calculating weighted distributions, generating WRC-compliant staff statements, and maintaining a full audit log.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms without notice.
Your use of Tip Sort is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You confirm that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
As a business using Tip Sort to process staff personal data, you act as the data controller and Tip Sort acts as your data processor under GDPR. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request at info@tipsort.com.
All software, design, content, and documentation within the Tip Sort platform is owned by or licensed to Tip Sort. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your internal business purposes only. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of Tip Sort at any time. We will give reasonable notice of any changes that materially affect your use of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, Tip Sort’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Tip Sort in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Tip Sort is not liable for: indirect or consequential loss; loss of profits or revenue; fines or penalties imposed by the WRC or any regulatory body; or loss arising from inaccurate data entered by you or your staff.
You may close your account at any time by contacting info@tipsort.com. We will retain audit and distribution records for the minimum period required by the Act before deletion. We may terminate your account for material breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of Tip Sort after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
